Photography by Filip Dujardin.

An extension of 12 classrooms to an existing school. The new building is shaped by the plot and the ambition to spare trees.

Trapezoidal classes trigger uncommon use. Special classes for specialized education.

Ground floor.

First floor.

Large sliding doors blur the boundary between class and corridor.

Tiles.

Low cost facades in corrugated fibre cement.
A figurative detail: eye-lashes above every window provide shading.

View from the street.

Amidst the trees.

The eyelashes.

Connection to the existing school.
